In Praise Of My Wife's Peach Pie

Delicious.
Not only is Vada an amazing mother of 4, homeschooling, homemaking,
financial planner/manager, great friend, and all around cool person, she

Operation Crawdad
Sam shows off the crayfish trap.
Ready to bait the trap with stinky tuna water.....yuck.
We got some!
We brought them home for further study.
Total catch: 5 crawdads and 3 minnows.
We tried to relocate them, but they didn't like their new home. So we had to move them back into the plastic tub.

Return To Mingus Mountain
Fire and smoke couldn't keep us from returning to the mountain.
On the way home the "controlled" burn had gotten out of control and we had to return to Cottonwood via Prescott Valley.
30 minutes in the woods and our children had gone feral.
Stand back or get whacked!
