I love how those children get along with no adults around. Now I see that the boy hunts. Very good. And he was able to kill at least one from that flock of snow-topped cans. They must be in Arizona, because the youngest one is wearing a sun hat in the snow instead of a knit cap.
We are speculating that they must not be AZ natives as they were lured in by the false spring, moving from their winter habitat early. I was glad to see that they were well enough prepared to deal with the unexpected snow. More on these fascinating creatures to come!
